Question 1

What is CoolDeal?

Accepted Answer

CoolDeal is a Shopify app that audits your carrier invoices for overcharges, builds the claim package with its evidence, and tracks each confirmed recovery. Its agent is called CoolAgent.

Question 2

What is CoolAgent?

Accepted Answer

CoolAgent is the agent inside CoolDeal. It reads carrier invoices, flags overcharges, builds the claim package, and reports each outcome. It was previously called DealAgent.

Question 3

Which recoveries does CoolDeal look for?

Accepted Answer

Carrier overcharges: invoice lines billed above the expected rate for the shipment. CoolDeal builds the claim package and its evidence for the merchant to review and file.

Question 4

How does CoolDeal use Shopify data?

Accepted Answer

CoolDeal uses merchant-approved Shopify order, fulfillment, and shipping data, together with carrier invoice files the merchant uploads, to create recovery candidates and evidence records. A claim is not submitted to a carrier unless the merchant files or approves it.

Question 5

What does no recovery, no charge mean?

Accepted Answer

We keep 15% of what we recover. If no recovery is confirmed, there is no charge. Billing runs through Shopify usage billing under a monthly cap the merchant approves, and counts only confirmed recoveries.

Question 6

Does CoolDeal include carrier controls?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Carrier Guard is a Shopify delivery customization function that hides checkout delivery options for carriers the merchant has flagged, such as a carrier that repeatedly overcharges.

Question 7

Who is CoolDeal built for?

Accepted Answer

CoolDeal is built for Shopify merchants, ecommerce operators, finance teams, and fulfillment leads who ship enough parcels that carrier invoices are worth auditing.

Refer merchants. Get paid when CoolDeal recovers their revenue.
